The Game Bingo is one of the versions of lottery played in a somewhat similar fashion. To play this game, every participant or player has to purchase a bingo card depending upon his desire and buying capacity to purchase a single card or multiple cards. Amongst the participants present, one non-playing person is usually referred as a Bingo Caller who controls the entire game and selects the random number out of a pool of 75-90 consecutive numbers. If the number called, appears on the players card, it is marked off for the rest of the game. Any player who first completes any specific row like Diagonal, Horizontal or vertical (usually 5 numbers in a row) depending on the rules for the particular game, the player shouts Bingo as a alert to caller and other players in order to inform about the win, who then be adjudged winner and wins all the prize money kept for that round. In fact before officially announcing the winner, the card is properly checked for accuracy. The player has the flexibility to play for the single line or continue playing for a full card and consolation full card depending on the rules set for particular game.

To play the most popular version of this game, a card consisting of 25 numbered squares is required with one free square in the middle of the card. This card is divided into 5 rows and 5 columns. The name of each column is labeled as B I N G O with letter B on the extreme left followed by I N G in between and O on the extreme right. The row in B column consists of 5 different numbers ranging from 1-15, similarly the column I contains 5 numbers from 16-30, Column N with numbers 31-45, G with 5 numbers from 46-60 and the last column O contains 5 numbers from 61-75 respectively.

Since bingo has been given the status of a legal game worldwide to play, it’s been the most popular game all over the globe; even the prizes have been known to range from children’s toys, to cars, to millions of dollars in cash. Though this game is known for its prizes, there are some regions where the profit has to be donated for charity purpose in order to keep the legality of this game intact.
